Unfortunately, Jack-2 was destroyed by a satellite weapon before he could complete his mission. Meanwhile, Jack-2 entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 to free Doctor Bosconovitch, his creator, from the Mishima Zaibatsu so that the scientist could make him human. The Russian military kept Jack-2’s desertion from the public and scrambled to find him. He fled from the conflict, taking the girl, Jane, with him. On a germ warfare mission, Jack-2 abandoned its objective when it came across a young infected girl (whom his system should have identified as an enemy insurgent). He was subsequently upgraded with improved AI circuitry and renamed Jack-2. The original Jack did not complete his mission to kill Kazuya. The Russian military learned of Kazuya Mishima’s plans for a world coup d’etat and dispatched Jack to the tournament to eliminate him. The first Jack model robot was developed in the former Soviet Union by Doctor Bosconovitch and was designed to be a ruthless killing machine.
